Terms of Service

Murmix is a product of Ximplex, operated from Costa Rica. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Ximplex. "You" means the person using Murmix. You can reach us anytime at support@ximplex.app.

Murmix looks for public conversations (on Hacker News and Bluesky) where people describe a problem your product may solve. It uses the searches you choose, analyzes matching posts with artificial intelligence, and shows you the best ones in your dashboard and in a daily email, with a short summary and ideas for a helpful reply.

Murmix only reads content that is already public. It never posts, comments, votes or sends messages anywhere on your behalf.

• You sign in with your Ximplex account (Google, GitHub or a sign-in link sent to your email). You're responsible for keeping that account secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
• You're responsible for everything that happens in your Murmix account.

Murmix only shows you public discussions about the topics you choose. It never posts, comments or sends messages to anyone for you, and it never collects anyone's contact details. If you decide to join a conversation, you do it yourself, with respect. You agree to:

• Write your replies yourself, in your own words, and add real value first.
• Follow the rules of each community and website where you reply.
• Be transparent: say that you built or work on a product when you mention it.
• Never use Murmix for spam, unsolicited or bulk messages, cold direct messages, harassment, collecting personal or contact data, or anything illegal.
• Not copy or republish other people's posts beyond what the original website allows.

If we see misuse, we may pause or close the account. We'll try to contact you first whenever possible.

• Summaries and match scores are generated by artificial intelligence. They can be wrong or incomplete. Always read the original conversation before you reply.
• We can't guarantee how many conversations Murmix will find, or that any conversation will be useful to you.
• The posts belong to their authors and to the websites where they were published. Murmix shows short excerpts and links back to the original.
• Murmix shows each conversation in the language it was written in. To find conversations in English, Spanish or Portuguese, write your searches with words in that language.
• Sources can change their rules or availability at any time. If a source stops working, Murmix may stop showing results from it.

• Free: up to 3 active searches, your dashboard, and one sample morning email.
• Pro: $12 per month or $120 per year, with up to 20 searches and the morning email every day. Prices are in USD and taxes may apply. Customers with an active Forduex subscription get $12 off their first year of Murmix Pro yearly.
• Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• If you're not happy, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we'll arrange a full refund. See our Refund Policy.
• If you stop paying, you keep your account and history. Searches above the free limit are paused (your oldest searches keep running) and the morning email stops.
• If we ever change prices, we'll tell you in advance, and the change will apply from your next renewal.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments, the Merchant of Record for all Murmix orders. Dodo Payments processes the payments, applies sales tax or VAT where required, and handles refunds.

Your searches, notes and votes belong to you. We only use them to run Murmix for you. Read our Privacy Policy to see exactly what we collect and how we protect it.

We aim to keep Murmix running smoothly, but it's provided "as is", and there may be occasional downtime or errors. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we ever shut Murmix down, we'll give you advance notice.

To the extent allowed by law, we're not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost opportunities. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using Murmix anytime. To delete your account and data, email us and we'll do it within 30 days. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are important, we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
